As a well used saying should go, " Meals is the 1st necessity of those. вЂќ In fact , Chinese dishes which is recognized for its diversified color, aromatic flavor, and excellent flavor has a long history. Lately, with the quick development of China's economic, a great ever-increasing volume of foreigners arrive to China and tiawan. For one thing, that they enjoy China's beautiful scenery and splendid historical sites. And for yet another thing, they also avoid want to miss the world-famous Oriental dishes. Thus, successful translation of China food names serves as a bridge pertaining to the foreign people to know Chinese language cuisine. Chinese dish names, as a part of Chinese culture, perform a considerable position in moving information along with spreading Chinese culture. As a result, English translation of Oriental menus is now an important issue. Now, the translation of Chinese meals can be found everywhere in China, for example , cook literature are translated into British; restaurants include bilingual choices; food is usually discussed and recommended in English upon newspapers, mags and TV programs. Yet , at present, a lot of the translations are extremely problematic and misleading the fact that foreigners tend to be confused and puzzled. For example, when foreigners go to a restaurant, they do not know very well what to purchase because they can understand the translation and sometimes they can be even shocked by the dish names in Chinese choices.
